Online courses

How does the online course work?

All online courses on Skillmea are created in the form of video tutorials, i.e. instructional videos. Once you have successfully ordered an online course, the entire course content is immediately available for you to study on your laptop, computer, mobile or tablet. The online courses also include downloadable materials, which you can find in the Materials tab under the video in the student section. There may also be homework assignments in the course, which we encourage you to work on. If you have any questions or are unclear, please post your question in the Q&A section below the video in the student interface.

Are your online courses suitable for beginners?

Our online courses are designed for beginners as well as intermediate and advanced learners. For each online course, we indicate the difficulty of the course, i.e. for whom the course is intended (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and whether prior knowledge is required.

How does the course registration work? Can I study on multiple devices?

You log in to the courses with your email and you can study anywhere you have an internet connection. You can study at home on your PC, at work on your laptop or on the train on your mobile phone.

Can I watch your online courses when I am offline? Can videos be downloaded?

When you don't have an internet connection, you can't watch the courses. You need to be online. You cannot download videos from the courses.

How does the online course subscription work?

Online course subscriptions work on the principle that you order a subscription and have unlimited access to ALL online courses while the subscription is valid. Once the subscription expires, you lose this access, you can renew your subscription at any time.

Will I still have access to the courses I have already taken after my subscription ends?

No, you won't. If your online course subscription expires and is no longer valid, you will lose access to the courses. However, you can renew your subscription at any time to regain access to the courses.

Is it possible to order an installment subscription?

Monthly or annual subscriptions to online courses cannot be ordered on an instalment basis. However, you can order lifetime access to all online courses on an instalment basis, please contact for terms and conditions.

I have a subscription. Do I get a certificate after completing each course?

Yes, you will receive a certificate of completion for every single course you take. It is a certificate in your name that you can show at interviews, at work, etc.

I have purchased a course (subscription) but I don't see any chapters in that course. What can I do about it?

Turn off Adblock or another browser extension to block ads and everything will be fine. Alternatively, if you're on an old, un-updated browser like Internet Explorer, please install Chrome.

Will your courses work on Mac, Windows, Linux?

You can run the videos on all platforms - macOS, Windows, Linux. However, if you have trouble playing the videos, try updating your browser first or disabling the browser extension that blocks ads.

Some online courses are MacOS-only (e.g. iOS Application Programming, Final Cut Pro, Sketch). The software used in courses may also be for one of the operating systems only, always read the course description carefully.

Payments and Financing

If I am not satisfied with the course, will you refund my money?

Yes, if you are not satisfied, we will give you a full refund within 14 days of your order.
